Hello again! ^-^ Thanks for participating in my thread again, and informing the commenter before you. I'd have to agree that the US would certainly have fewer fatality rates if they had universal healthcare that's free for all. I watched a documentary done by an American in Canada, in which he interviewed Canadian residents and found out they don't even know their own hospital bills---because it's free! Also, he took us to a typical Canadian "slum" and it had nice brick buildings and clean cement. Graffiti? None. Violence? Unlikely. Homely? Better than some "non-slum" areas in the US. Considering most of our homicides occur in areas of poverty, you'd think it'd strike a red alert to our government. But of course...I think they'd rather waste resources on war with Iraq rather than on our own people
